Each calendar that was delivered by email had the same limitation — the calendar reflected only “today’s” dates.
With the new Court Date Calculator App, you can:

When Court Days are selected, the app automatically omits weekends and recognized holidays from the calculation, providing precise, court-compliant results.

🧭 You can fully customize your holiday list by entering dates and descriptions that match your court or office schedule. To save time, the app includes an import option for bringing in holidays you already maintain elsewhere. You may also export your current holiday list for quick adjustments when preparing for the next year. During all Court Day calculations, weekends and imported holidays are automatically excluded for complete accuracy.
✅ Accuracy of Calculations
The app is designed for precision when calculating court and calendar dates. You can choose to count forward or backward from today’s date, or from any custom start date you enter. For deadlines that land on a weekend or holiday, the app offers flexible rolling options — automatically adjusting the result forward, backward, or leaving the date unchanged, depending on your selection. These features ensure that every calculation reflects real-world court scheduling rules and remains accurate for your specific needs.
How the Calculation Is Performed
When the app starts, todays date is used for the calculation, or you can select a different date.
Now, the calculated result is based on your selection of Calendar Days or Court Days.
Calendar Days count every day consecutively (Forward or Backwards).
Court Days automatically skips weekends and any holidays you have saved in the app based on your location and.
You can then choose to count forward (into the future) or backward (from the past) for the number of days, weeks, months, or years you select. The app converts your input into an exact day-by-day count, ensuring precision throughout the process.
Once the target date is reached, the app checks whether that date falls on a weekend or holiday. If it does, your selected date-rolling rule is applied:
Roll Forward: moves the date ahead to the next valid Court Day – (Highlighted in yellow for a visual notification)
Roll Backward: moves the date back to the previous valid Court Day – (Highlighted in yellow for a visual notification)
No Roll: leaves the date unchanged, even if it lands on a weekend or holiday
This approach ensures that your results match real scheduling practices — especially in legal and court environments where deadlines must fall on business days.
The end result is a simple and accurate summary, displayed clearly on a single page and available for PDF export.
